These hand rollers are made for marking soft clay with a surface pattern.   No handle is needed, just roll them like a rolling pin over the clay surface. Roller can be used flat on a slab of clay or on the wall of a piece while still on the wheel.   This hand roller is made in our shop in Whitewater, Wisconsin USA.
